View by Cumulative vs Non-Cumulative in Segmentation

In Segmentation, the cumulative and non-cumulative modes allow you to choose how you would like to visualize data points over time.

  • Non-cumulative is the default setting. It displays the count of occurrences for a selected event or combination of events at each point in time defined by the selected time interval.
  • Cumulative displays the running total of the selected event or combination of events.

For example, if 10 "Purchase" events occurred on May 1st and 15 "Purchase" events occurred on May 2nd:

  • Non-cumulative would show 10 "Purchase" events on May 1st and 15 "Purchase" events on May 2nd.
  • Cumulative would show 10 "Purchase" events on May 1st and 25 "Purchase" events on May 2nd.
